History of St. Austin's University
Founded in 2018 by Dr. Chongwain Bisheline Naya, St. Austin’s began as a small medical institute committed to training the next generation of healthcare professionals. Within just a few years, we expanded our offerings to include engineering, technology, business, and education programs, all taught in both English and French. Today, our Yaoundé and Bamenda campuses serve a growing community of students, supported by a teaching hospital, diagnostic lab, and active research centers. Through each phase of growth, our focus has remained the same—delivering high‑quality education aligned with international standards and preparing graduates to lead and innovate across Africa and beyond.
